Everyone says Python can’t run an action RPG. Bound to Rot is here to disagree: Raylib rendering, Numpy data-oriented entity arrays, Numba-compiled hot paths, and a deterministic entropy combat system.

The unannounced project finally has a name and a Steam page. Bound to Rot is a dark fantasy action roguelike where an angel descends into the Anima, gambles on tarot at the Pulse, and rots if it lingers too long.
