Getting Ready for the Final Release to Google Play Store
After tinkering with the mechanics and designing some new enemies, I think I’m finally ready to release my first commercial game to the public! This game will be continuously updated as I use it to hone my skills and practice my pixel art. The goal is to add 100 hats, and once I achieve that, I can move on to a new project.
The initial goal of this project was to release a complete game as soon as possible without compromising quality. Through this journey, I’ve learned:
- How the Godot 2D engine operates
- How to work with Google Ads
- How to integrate and troubleshoot Godot plugins
- Fixed a delay issue related to my laptop’s graphics card
We will see where it goes from here. The final release is just the beginning! 🚀
